I came home yesterday after an overnight stay this weekend. I had tried to phone the day before I arrived to enquire about leaving luggage with them if I arrived early but was answered by AI which didn't understand my question and no way of transferring the call to speak to someone. I was in room 220 which was spotlessly clean but not very warm. I turned the heating up when I went out for the evening but on coming back it was still cold, only registering 17.5 on my temperature app. It was the same yesterday morning despite leaving it on 21 when I went down for breakfast. Also the television remote control seemed to need new batteries as it didn't always work. I would have pointed these things out when I departed but there was no one on reception. It seems that staffing is kept to the bare minimum, but those I did meet were very pleasant. I would stay here again because of its convenient location.

I cannot fault the efficency, and professionalism of the staff during our one night stay. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and were served by Fran and Callum who were excellent, and obviously enjoyed their jobs. The room was spotless, the food was good, parking and Wi -Fi were free and it was only a 15 minute stroll into town. I would definitely stay there again.

We've stayed in plenty of Premier Inns up and down the UK and abroad. This one is pretty decent and I quite enjoyed the "river" right outside that you walk over to enter. I found the rooms quite small, particularly the bathroom where it was hard to use the loo without whacking your self (no, not like that!) on the sink or loo roll holder. There was also a musty smell to the room. Overall though location is great so would stay here again.

An excellent experience. Arrived late at night, was promptly let in and checked in. Was given a great room twice (the first room was still fantastic but was right next to the lobby and without asking the wonderful concierge offered to move it, to an equally great room). It was clean and fresh. Really comfortable bed and pillow. The staff were 6 out of 5 stars. Both so kind and helpful. Loved it here. Will stay again.

Handy location - only a few minutes from the town centre by taxi ( there is a direct link phone to a great taxi company in reception ). Chose this Premier inn as it had a car park, which was larger than expected, and pleasantly surprised when arriving to see that it had a bar. Room was clean and tidy and a good selection at breakfast.

Mason and the rest of the North A14 team provided an extremely warm and personable service over the 3 months from Nov 25 - Jan 26 that we were travelling to and from BSE. Having sampled several other hotels in the area, we kept coming back to the Premier Inn North A14. Never a problem with providing extra towels and making up the rooms, always fast with evening dinner service, I couldn't find anything to fault. Can thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a solid, dependable choice for accommodation. Will definitely be back, so keep up the good work everyone!
